## Purposes and legal bases

We process personal data only as necessary to operate the website, communicate with visitors, process donations or orders, fulfil legal duties or where consent has been given. Depending on the activity, relevant GDPR bases may include Art. 6(1)(a), (b), (c) and (f).

## Website and server logs

Technical data such as IP address, access time, requested page, referrer, browser, operating system and transferred data volume may be processed to provide and secure the website.

When you contact us by email, telephone or form, we process the information required to answer your request.

## Donations and PayPal

Donation links may lead to PayPal or other platforms. PayPal processes payment and transaction data under its own responsibility. Information received by Ethical Saving is used for donation administration and legal retention duties.

## WooCommerce shop and payments

If you actively use cart, checkout or payment functions, we process order, billing, shipping, support and legally required documentation data. Depending on the selected payment method, data may be sent to Stripe, WooPayments or another payment provider.

## Donation-management functions

Where WordPress donation functions are used, information entered into the relevant form is processed to administer the donation and retained only as required for that purpose and legal obligations.

## Meeting booking with TidyCal

Our [meeting page](https://ethicalsaving.org/en/meeting/) opens the external TidyCal service only after an active user action. TidyCal may process technical usage data and information entered during booking.
